In this activity, students will explore how to use “Music Note with MIDI Number” programming block. Pupils will experience the difference between a lower and a higher pitch.
Retelling A Story
Students will create scenes from the story they are reading. They will illustrate the scene and write a sentence that explains what is going on. They will then glue their picture on cardboard. They will put the pictures in order to retell the story.
Snowflake Lifecycle and Design
Students will learn about the lifecycle of a snowflake after listening to the book, “Curious About Snow.” They will use color coding markers to design and create a snowflake after learning about the different types of snowflakes.
True or False
This is a versatile “game board” that brings variety for student feedback. Just handout the review board and ask any true/false question. Students choose their answer and color in the appropriate blocks to direct their Ozobot to their answer!
Touring Our School
This is a student-centered project that integrates the Evo Ozobot robot with the Makey-Makey & Scratch 3.0 technologies. Evo can be programmed using either the color-codes or the Blockleya programming language for this project.
