As a class, we walked through the design process to build four Algorithm Design Activities for students using both Lines and Codes and Ozoblockly.

Students will virtually break down the elements found in compounds and “collect” them from the periodic table.

Evo simulates pushdown automata, allowing students to visualize their behavior in an interactive manner.

This lesson is a continuation of Fifth Grade Lesson 8. Students will complete their proximity sensor code and incorporate point counting features.

This pattern recognition programming challenge emphasizes loops, navigation and movement blocks, as well as varying line-following speed.

Ozobot is out for a drive and wants you to decide whether to go to the mountains, to the open highway, or just take a ride in the neighborhood.

Students will research the major battles during the Revolutionary War in South Carolina. (Could be done in your state with other important battles)

Students will review basic coding skills, academic skills, and complete silly challenges while playing a roll-and-move customizable board game.

Students will use ozobots to mimic the transformation of different animals and their life cycle.

With Evo as the number caller, BINGO can be used in the elementary classroom to help children learn numbers in an entertaining way.
