Ozobot Classroom

Coral Inhabitants

Become a marine scientist! Build an interactive coral reef to explore how ocean animals feed and shelter. Program Ari to mimic an ocean creature’s journey, track coral visits, and analyze your data to compare results.

Comparing Decimals

Students will compare pairs of decimal numbers using >, = , and < to program their bot to move to a final destination.

Equivalent Fraction Match-Up

Students will analyze fraction models to determine missing numerators. Then, they’ll compare two fraction models and use Color Codes to program their Ozobot to identify the equivalent and nonequivalent fractions.

Mix It Up Multiplication

Students will program their Ozobot to randomly select numbers to make multiplication problems, find the products, and apply the commutative property.

Picking Out Irregular Plural Nouns

In this lesson, students will identify the correct way to spell and use irregular plural nouns and use Color Codes to program their Ozobot to move to the correct irregular plural nouns by either turning left or right and use the noun in a sentence.

How to Make a Sandwich

Students will describe in detail how to make their favorite sandwich (real or imagined).

Ozobot’s Day of Similes

Students complete commonly used similes to tell about Ozobot’s day and use Color Codes to program their bot to demonstrate the similes.

Engineering Design Process Lesson 3

Students will use the Engineering Design Process to develop a model that uses Ozobot’s point counter. The scenario is 8th Grade mentors accompanying new 6th graders through school on the first day collecting and giving away items.
