Money Mountains
Ozobot will randomly choose quarters, dimes, nickels and pennies for students to identify the total amount of money. The students will then order the money amounts from greatest to least and add color codes to the mountains for Ozobot to follow.
Random Suffix
Students will program Ozobot to randomly choose a suffix and a root word and determine if it is a real word. If not, students will use the root to make a new word that uses an appropriate suffix and write the meaning of the new word.
How to Make a Sandwich
Students will describe in detail how to make their favorite sandwich (real or imagined).
ID the Structure
Students will identify the structure of short passages of text as chronology, comparison, cause/effect or problem/solution, then add the correct Color Code to the Activity Sheet to get Ozobot to the correct structure.
Crash Scene Investigator
Students act as crash scene investigators, using Ari’s Compass app and Newton’s Third Law to identify force directions and rebuild collision scenarios.
Fooled by the Bug
This lesson is all about debugging! First find the errors in a bugged code using your programming skills and the Ozobot Blockly glossary. Then code your own bugged program for a classmate to troubleshoot!
Introduction to Ozobot Blockly 02: Sequences (Grades K-1)
Students will learn about sequences in programming, and program their Ozobot to perform a series of commands in order, according to actions in a short story.
Industry Applications 10: Robot Arms in Space
Students will learn about different uses of robotic arm technology outside of Earth’s atmosphere. Students will participate in a challenge to utilize precise ORA finger gripper movement.
Industry Applications 12: Material Movers
Students will learn about robotic arm technology in the shipping and distribution industry and will use ORA to unload a shipping container of goods.
Industry Applications 8: Robot Arm, Assemble!
Students will learn about robotic arm technology used in the automotive industry. Students will use ORA to perform the actions at a particular station on an assembly line.
