Ozobot Classroom

Crawler Shape Maker

Students will use Ozobot Blockly to program Evo/Crawler to travel in different shapes.

A Vowel Story

Students will use Ozobot Blockly to program Ozobot to randomly display colors and prompt them to choose words from a word bank. Then, students will use the words to complete sentences and determine if they have long or short vowels.

A Vowel Story Make It Rhyme

Students will program Ozobot with Ozobot Blockly to randomly display colors and choose words for a story. Then, they’ll add their own rhyming words to show long or short vowel sounds. Students will use pictures to retell their story with Ozobot.

My Own Vowel Story

Students will use long or short vowel words to complete their own story. After the story is complete, students will use pictures and Ozobot Blockly to program their bot to retell the story.

Yay for 100 Days!

Students will draw a 100th day party hat with fun designs and code Ozobot to move in the shape of “100” on top of their hats and celebrate with disco lights. After, students will add in pencil 100 pieces of “confetti” to finish out their art.

CCM Speed Lesson 5: Nitro Boost and Short Super Slow

Students will discover the two asymmetrical Speed Codes: Nitro Boost and Short Super Slow. Then, a Venn Diagram will be used to compare the codes. This is Lesson 5 designed for the Color Code Magnets Speed Extension Kit.

CCM Speed Lesson 6: Speed Review

Students will use everything they’ve learned about Speed Color Codes to place the codes in order from slowest to fastest, then identify and explain the two asymmetric codes. This is Lesson 6 designed for the Color Code Magnets Speed Extension Kit.

Did someone say pickle?

For National Pickle Day, students can code Ozobot to share pickles with friends for their sandwiches, hamburgers, or just a snack!

Welcome to Our School with Ozobot!

By the end of the lesson, students will be able to design an interactive Open House map using color coding skills, incorporating three different locations within their school and using asynchronous codes for their Ozobots to travel.
