Ozobot Classroom

Everyday Algorithms with Ozobot

In this lesson students will use an everyday algorithm that they perform and create a Ozobot maze to complete their algorithm.

Shamrock Coding

Students will put their creativity to the test by drawing and coding their own path for the Ozobot to travel on.

Balloons and Ozobots!

Students will use rubber bands, zip ties, and tape to engineer a support support system to hold their balloon up in the air while their Ozobot travels around a coding map.

Ozobot Plot Diagram

Students will demonstrate their knowledge of plot elements in a fictional story by utilizing color codes to demonstrate the action that occurs at each plot element.

A Grand Florida Tour

In pairs, students will randomly sleect 4 Florida landmarks. Using these landmarks, they will plot a course to visit these places. Using that information, they will code their Ozobot (using OzoBlocky) to take a tour of Florida.

An Ozobot Community

When learning about different workers and buildings in our community my students created their own community, complete with roads for our Ozobots!

Sorting Food into Food Groups

Students will decide which food group a food item belongs to by programming the ozobot to turn left or right at an intersection.

Chunk Hunt–G

Students will identify four vowel/consonant chunks with the letter -g in single-syllable words by using the same color code “dance” for each -g chunk pattern.

Chunk Hunt –P

Students will identify vowel/consonant chunks with the letter -p in single- syllable words by using the same color code “dance” for each -p chunk pattern
