Ozobot Classroom

Crash Scene Investigator

Students act as crash scene investigators, using Ari’s Compass app and Newton’s Third Law to identify force directions and rebuild collision scenarios.

Map the Hike

Use Ari as your trail guide! Students combine the Compass and Distance apps to map out a series of hikes, using latitude and longitude to find starting points and Ari’s sensors to measure each segment. They draw accurate trail paths by following real

Battle Corn

Students use Ari’s Compass app to explore the difference between true north and magnetic north as they create and solve directional clues to locate hidden “corn” on a U.S. map.

Constellation Creation

Students use Ari’s Compass App to sketch constellations on a grid, then research the myths behind them. They finish by designing an original constellation and writing its story.

Field and Auroras

Students use Ari’s Compass App to model Earth’s magnetic field lines, label the magnetosphere, and create an aurora based on how charged particles move.

Ocean Life Cycles

Students will create interactive diagrams to show the life cycles of two different ocean dwelling organisms. Ari will display the life cycles of the organisms as it travels on a track. Students then compare and contrast the two different life cycles.

Girls Innovating Change

In honor of International Women’s Day, we are recognizing the young innovator Gitanjali Rao. Learn about this woman’s incredible achievements, then use Ozobot to come up with your own. You are never too young to make a difference in the world!

Ozobot Editor Essentials 08: Concurrency

Learn how to use concurrency to program Ozobots that can do multiple actions at the same time and even sync up together. Then you’ll apply this skill in a real-world simulation, programming two bots as firefighting robots searching for hotspots.

Moon Phases with Ari Level 2

Students will identify the 8 phases of the moon, waxing crescent, first quarter, waxing gibbous, full moon, waning gibbous, last quarter, waning crescent, and new moon. They will program Ari to recognize a color or color combination to indicate each

Moon Phases with Ari Level 1

Students will identify the 4 major phases of the moon: first quarter, full moon, last quarter, and new moon. They will program Ari to recognize a color or color combination to indicate each phase.
