Parts of Speech- Interjections, Conjunctions, Prepositions
This activity will help students identify interjections, conjunctions, prepositions
Ozobot Alphabet
Students will practice upper case, lower case, and the vowel letters. 3 versions include: Upper case letters, Lower case letters, and Mixed Upper and Lower. For each vowel, students will use a code chart to color in the codes.
The Best Christmas Pageant Ever
The Best Christmas Pageant Ever is a story about the six worst children in the history of the world. This activity sequences the story of the Best Christmas Pageant Ever. Students will use directional color codes to retell the story.
Christmas Directional Activities
These activities will help students identify directional color codes with fun holiday tasks!
Do You Want to Build a Snowman?
This lesson allows students to create a snowman. Students will use directional color codes to code their way by different parts of a snowman and draw the snowman at the end using the objects they “collected”.
Halloween Color Coding
This lesson allows younger students to practice coding with color codes. This is an introductory level activity, and the codes are provided for students. Students will count candy, houses, and match pictures to color codes around a pumpkin patch.
Exploring Experimental and Theoretical Probability
Students will create a random choice loop and measure the experimental probability of the Ozobot reaching a chosen outcome then compare it to the theoretical probability.
Getting to Know You (and Ozobot)
Today’s activity is all about getting comfortable with Ozobot color codes by telling us a little about yourself… in code!
Improved On-Off Controller
The lesson is to modify the basic on-off controller so that the line following behaviour of the robot is more sophisticated.
Christmas Village
This lesson is a final project that a small team of high school students created. They integrated Evo, Makey-Makey- and Scratch 3.0.
