The Decagon Traveler Challenge
Challenge your computer science students to design an OzoBlockly program that makes Evo travel around a regular hexagon in the provided Ozomap.
Fur Trading Post
In this lesson, students will create a fur trading post and code Ozobot to take the fur trading boss on a tour.
Evo goes MIDI
In this activity, students will explore how to use “Music Note with MIDI Number” programming block. Pupils will experience the difference between a lower and a higher pitch.
True or False
This is a versatile “game board” that brings variety for student feedback. Just handout the review board and ask any true/false question. Students choose their answer and color in the appropriate blocks to direct their Ozobot to their answer!
Ozobot Holiday Hop
Use Ozoblockly to create a choreographed danced to holiday favorites.
Touring Our School
This is a student-centered project that integrates the Evo Ozobot robot with the Makey-Makey & Scratch 3.0 technologies. Evo can be programmed using either the color-codes or the Blockleya programming language for this project.
Finding Synonyms with Ozoblockly
Students will program the ozobot using Ozoblockly or the Ozobot Simulator to match synonyms on a game board.
A Grand Florida Tour
In pairs, students will randomly sleect 4 Florida landmarks. Using these landmarks, they will plot a course to visit these places. Using that information, they will code their Ozobot (using OzoBlocky) to take a tour of Florida.
Take Ozobot for a ride with Linear Equations
This activity will allow students to solve and graph linear equations and command Ozobot to move along the slope of a line.
Interpreting Distance Time Graphs
This lesson will allow students to interpret distance and time graphs from a story or word problem and graph them accordingly. The bot will move along the intervals and adjust the speed, movement, lights and sound accordingly.
