Ozobot can help build awareness of ways students can use items around them to recycle and rebuilt to help their community.
Needs or Wants?
This lesson is for students to understand the difference between needs and wants and be able to categorize a good after they name it from the letter Ozobot goes to on the maze.
Identify the Beginning Letter Sound
Students will identify pictures that are located around the Ozobot track. Next, they will identify the beginning letter sound and find the Ozobot code next to the letter to complete the track.
Government Roles
Students will identify the roles of the president, mayor, and governor.
Color Code a Snowman
Students will use Evo and color code markers to create and design a snowman.
Forces and Motion Ozobot Challenge
This fun, engaging activity combines programming skills and science content! Students will use their knowledge of forces and motion to program their Ozobots for a number of scenarios where they pretend their Ozobots are balls in the scenario.
Counting Coins with Ozobot
Place coins around the map. Collect the coins that the Ozobot passes by. Record the amount collected in each round.
Ozobot Winter Sports!
After becoming interested in various winter sports, we created a curling course fit for our Ozobots and to practice some simple addition.
Sorting Food into Food Groups
Students will decide which food group a food item belongs to by programming the ozobot to turn left or right at an intersection.
Winter Snowman Maze
Students will color code Evo to get through the maze to successfully reach the snowman.
