3rd Grade Math Lesson with Geometry and Polygons
Teacher will ask students to create 4 polygons. Each polygon must include one Ozobot code. Students will be put into partners and have 15 minutes.
Rhetorical Robots!
In this lesson, students analyze a speech and use the Ozobot to chart the “moves” of the speaker within the text.
Ozobot Joins May the 4th
Students will celebrate computer science skills during the May the 4th events.
Trace the plot
Students will read the short story “And I Mean it Stanley” and label a plot diagram of the story, for Ozobot to follow.
“Bridging” the Architectural Gap for Ozobots
Students will sketch, design, and create a 3D model of a symmetrical bridge that has an incline that the Ozobot is capable of overcoming.
Types of Angles with Ozobots
Use pre-made programs to have the ozobot draw angles and identify them as acute, obtuse, or right, then create a maze using angles.
Dragons Love Tacos
The students will code Ozobot to travel along a path of events that happen in the book, Dragons Love Tacos by: Adam Rubin.
Elapsed time by half hour
Students will program the ozobot to help them determine the elapsed time between a start and end time.
A Trek along the Great Wall of China
Students will research and build the Great Wall of China then code the Ozobot to traverse the wall.
Ozobot Division
Students solve basic division problems and create code based on the quotients to get Ozobot to travel around a path.
