Ozobot Acts Out Past, Present, & Future | Verb Tenses Mini Lesson
Students will use color codes to identify past, present, and future verb tenses. Then, they will write complete sentences using the verb.
Classify by Amount
Students will practice cutting out paper tiles and classifying them by amount. Then, students will explain to Ozobot how they classified each group as Ozobot travels around a shape.
Patterns and Waves Part 3
Students will create models of light waves that allow people and Ozobots to see color. They will then create a pathway including colored lines and Color Code patterns to show how light waves can transfer information.
Landform Adventure Race
Students identify different landforms to help Ozobot plan for an adventure race along with the order it will see them in. Then students add pictures to a map to sequence the race, and Color Codes to program Ozobot to complete the race in 30 seconds.
CVC Words
Students will decide which vowel belongs to the CVC word by programming the ozobot to turn left or right at an intersection.
CCM Base Kit Lesson 9: Straight at Intersection
Students have learned to program Ozobot to go left and right at intersections. The Straight at Intersection code is the only Color Code from the basic kit we haven’t used yet.
CCM Base Kit Lesson 8: More Random Choices
The 4-Way Intersection magnets add more options for this adventure. Discuss where 4-way intersections are found in real life like street intersections where we find stop signs or traffic signals. Discuss safe street-crossing habits.
CCM Base Kit Lesson 7: The Conflict in the Adventure
Students will brainstorm situations where it is essential to make a choice. Use these ideas to inspire a conflict in the story students are creating. With the Left and Right at Intersection magnets, students can tell Ozobot which way to turn.
CCM Base Kit Lesson 4: Telling a Story
Telling a story and writing a program have a lot in common because the sequence of events is important in each one. An engaging story follows a logical sequence of events and a successful program has a correct sequence of code.
Bowling for Fractions – Comparing Fractions (Ozobot 3D CAD Library)
Using 3D-printed bowling pins, students will take Ozobot bowling for fractions. Each attempt will give students a numerator to complete each side of a fraction comparison. Visit ozobot.com/3d-cad-library for all the STL files.
