Ozobot Classroom

The Interactive Flowchart Part 3 of 3

Students work with the iteration flowchart structure using variables, functions, and conditionals in Ozobot Blockly. This is Part 3 of a 3-part series. Originally written by Dr. Richard Born, Assoc Professor Emeritus, N. Illinois University.

The Interactive Flowchart Part 2 of 3

Students work with Selection Flowcharts and create an Ozobot Blockly program containing variables and functions. Original lesson by Richard Born, Assoc. Professor Emeritus.

The Interactive Flowchart Part 1 of 3

Students are introduced to structured flowcharting in an interactive lesson, followed by applying flowcharting to an original scenario of their choice. Originally written by Dr. Richard Born, Assoc Professor Emeritus, Northern Illinois University.

Slope Seeker

Students will translate single step equations between different representations (graphs, tables, equations, and word problems). Then, students identify the slope of the equation and code the Ozobot to travel along the slope to check their work.

Craps Game for Ozobot

Play craps with Ozobot for fun, or challenge your computer science students to create an OzoBlockly program to play craps with Evo or Bit.

Interpreting Distance Time Graphs

This lesson will allow students to interpret distance and time graphs from a story or word problem and graph them accordingly. The bot will move along the intervals and adjust the speed, movement, lights and sound accordingly.

Programmer Spacecraft Challenge

Students will create their own program to help Ozobot mimic a spacecraft and complete a mission. This lesson is intended for use with the OzoGoes to the Solar System STEAM Kit.

Ozobot’s Breakout Part 1 of 5 – Movement

In Part 1 of Ozobot’s Breakout, students play the game using a completed program. Then, students analyze the program and modify it to create Ozobot’s autonomous movement.
