Classify by Amount
Students will practice cutting out paper tiles and classifying them by amount. Then, students will explain to Ozobot how they classified each group as Ozobot travels around a shape.
Patterns and Waves Part 3
Students will create models of light waves that allow people and Ozobots to see color. They will then create a pathway including colored lines and Color Code patterns to show how light waves can transfer information.
Landform Adventure Race
Students identify different landforms to help Ozobot plan for an adventure race along with the order it will see them in. Then students add pictures to a map to sequence the race, and Color Codes to program Ozobot to complete the race in 30 seconds.
Introduction to Ozobot Blockly 04: Debugging (Grades 2-5)
Students learn about the concept of debugging and practice the concept with block-based coding to find and correct errors in different programs.
Introduction to Ozobot Blockly 03: Loops (Grades 2-5)
Students learn about the concept of loops and apply the concept with Ozobot Blockly to program their bot to move in different patterns.
Area with Ozobot
Students program their bot to randomly select a number of units for the length and width of a rectangle. Next, they use the numbers to draw the rectangle on grid paper and find the area by counting the units and multiplying the length by the width.
Classify by Size
Students will practice cutting out paper tiles, and classifying them by size. Then, Ozobot will help students as they explain how they classified each group of shapes.
Introduction to Ozobot Blockly 08: Line Navigation (Grades 2-5)
Students will learn how to program using the Line Navigation blocks in Ozoblockly to instruct their bot to move to different locations.
Introduction to Ozobot Blockly 05: Skills Check 1 (Grades 2-5)
Students will check their understanding of sequences, loops, and debugging by programming their bot along a route from school to home following directions in story form.
Ozobot Blockly Challenge: ShapeTracer 1
The Ozobot Blockly ShapeTracer will teach sequencing & debugging skills. Students will utilize logic, reasoning, & computer science skills. No bot needed!
