Halley’s Comet

Learn about the fascinating journey of Halley’s Comet, one of the most iconic comets in our night sky, and explore how its behavior changes throughout its 76-year orbit. Then, program Ari to simulate its dynamic movements as it travels through space.

Shadow Shifts

Students will use the Ari Distance application to measure the length of shadows created by different angles of light on an object. After measuring, students will compare shadow lengths at different times of the day.

Meet Ari: Hardware, Software, and Apps (K-4)

Meet Ari, your new robot buddy! In this lesson, you’ll dive into using Ari and level up your coding skills as we explore its hardware, software, and apps, uncovering all the amazing things this bot can do!

Area and Perimeter Everywhere

Students will use the Ari Distance app to measure the side lengths of rectangular shapes and calculate the shapes’ areas and perimeters. Students will then measure rectangular classroom objects to calculate their areas and perimeters.

Send Your Valentines

Express your gratitude for your classmates this Valentine’s Day by writing letters of appreciation and sending them using bot-to-bot communication!

President’s Parade – Abraham Lincoln

In honor of Presidents’ Day, let’s celebrate the incredible life of our 16th president, Abraham Lincoln! Use Color Code directions to take Ozobot through Lincoln’s life in the correct order.

Katherine Johnson the Human Robot

Take a look at the accomplishments of Katherine Johnson, one of the first black women to become a NASA mathematician. In honor of Black History Month, create a flight path for Ozobot’s spaceship to land on the moon, just like Katherine did!

Cybersecurity Circus Maze

Ozobot the Ringmaster must find all the circus animals and get to the show on time! Use Direction Color Codes and your reading comprehension skills to dodge the phishing clowns who are trying to distract the Ringmaster.

Trash Sorter (Ozobot 3D CAD Library)

Students will work in teams using recycled paper and 3D-printed parts to create the most efective path for Evo to sort trash into the appropriate collection boxes. Visit ozobot.com/3d-cad-library for all the STL fles.

Light Up the Sky with Auroras (Level 2)

Learn about Aurora (Northern and Southern Lights) and color your own unique sky. Then on Blockly, use color sensor data to program Ozobot’s lights based on the detected surface color of the art.
