Introduction to Ozobot Blockly 05: Debugging (Grades K-1)
Students will identify incorrect and correct blocks that are hidden in programs by holding up a paper cut-out of the block.
Introduction to Ozobot Blockly 06: Skills Check (Grades K-1)
Students will review the concepts they have learned in the previous five lessons, and finish with an Ozo-vacuum.
Play a song, Ozobot!
In this activity, students will explore how the different levels of Ozoblockly impact song creation as they program their Ozobot to play a classic children’s song. For the best results they will need to use the Midi sound blocks.
Seesaw With Friends
Students will experiment with balanced and unbalanced forces in a situation with friends on a seesaw. This lesson is intended to be used with the Ozo Goes on a Seesaw STEAM Kit.
Lesson 9: I Use OzoBlockly to Code Point Counting!
This lesson is a continuation of Fifth Grade Lesson 8. Students will complete their proximity sensor code and incorporate point counting features.
Lesson 9: I Can Utilize Advanced Conditional Statements!
Students will grow their knowledge of conditional statements, and create a game using if/then/else statements.
Lesson 8: I Can Code Forever Loops in OzoBlockly!
Students code with forever loops in Ozoblockly. They will read codes with forever loops, predict what the Ozobot will do, and test the code.
Lesson 9: I Can Convert Sequences to Loops in OzoBlockly!
Students will utilize Ozoblockly to write codes with loops. Students will explore how sequences and loops are connected and function in Ozoblockly.
Lesson 8: I Can Code Conditional Statements in OzoBlockly!
Students will utilize OzoBlockly coding skills to build conditional statements.
Lesson 9: I Can Code Advanced Sequences and Loops!
Students will create block-based programs to practice the computer science concept of advanced loops and sequences, which repeats sections of code.
