Long O Vowel Hunt

Students will identify long O vowel patterns in single- and multi-syllable words using the same color code “dance” for each long O vowel pattern.

CCM Speed Lesson 6: Speed Review

Students will use everything they’ve learned about Speed Color Codes to place the codes in order from slowest to fastest, then identify and explain the two asymmetric codes. This is Lesson 6 designed for the Color Code Magnets Speed Extension Kit.

A-MAZE-ING Reward Day!

Students will create a maze out of KEVA Planks (or other wooden blocks) and code their robots to go through the maze using Ozoblockly. The students may then try to stump their classmates and trade, and then compare codes!

Digraph Dash-H Sounds

Students use the four H digraphs (wh, sh, th, ch) as they decode single-syllable short vowel words to complete a color-code map.

CCM Special Moves Lesson 4: Loops

Students use four three-letter digraphs (scr, spl, spr, str) as they decode short vowel words to complete a color-code map.
