Coding with Boy + Bot
Students will code Ozobot to go through the events that took place in the story in sequential order.
Texas Symbols
Students will review Texas symbols by helping Ozobot travel the Texas Symbols Trail and stop to visit each one of them for 3 seconds.
SDG #6 Clean Water Sanitation: Ozobot Responsible Water Consumption
Students learn about the UN’s Sustainable Development Goal #6, Clean Water & Sanitation. Students will research this goal to create social awareness.
Everyday Algorithms with Ozobot
In this lesson students will use an everyday algorithm that they perform and create a Ozobot maze to complete their algorithm.
Be You
Take an approach like Molly Lou Mellon! Embrace your uniqueness and creativity through art after this read aloud and discussion.
Mapping the Ocean Floor
Students will create models of the ocean floor with QR codes associated with each feature. Students will then switch maps of the ocean floor and use Ozoblockly to code the path drawn by another group.
A Grand Florida Tour
In pairs, students will randomly sleect 4 Florida landmarks. Using these landmarks, they will plot a course to visit these places. Using that information, they will code their Ozobot (using OzoBlocky) to take a tour of Florida.
Earth Day Activities
Students will complete Earth day activities. Students will use directional codes to choose ways to help our planet, and students will identify recyclable items.
St. Patrick’s Day Activity
Students will use color codes to get to the pot of gold.
Coming to America!
In small student groups, they will determine which landmarks were key to immigration in the early 1900’s. When given two historical landmarks, students will use color codes to direct their Ozobot toward the correct answer.
