AI-Powered Population Maps
Use the LLM block to collect real-world population and land area data from 10 different countries! Students will calculate population density, rank countries from most to least crowded, and create an AI-powered population map.
Prominent Black Engineers and Scientists
Students will choose an influential Black scientist and/or engineer, research their lives, and create a biographical timeline for Ozobot to follow.
Code for the Gold – Curling Challenge
Students will construct an attachment for Ozobot to compete in a curling competition. Ozobot will push the curling stones into the goal area to score points.
Code For the Gold – 50 cm Race
Students will plan and execute a program with a variety of parameters, practice measurement, sequencing and debugging as they create a racetrack for Ozobot.
Code for the Gold – Gymnastic Floor Routine (Advanced)
Students will program Ozobot using functions to compete in a Gymnastics Floor Competition.
Narrative in Action Part 1: Introduce Your Story
Students will write the beginning of a narrative to tell about a real or imaginative experience when a character was excited. Students will use lines and Color Codes to program their bot to show the sequence of events in the story in action.
Narrative in Action Part 2: Rising Action
In Part 2 of the Narrative in Action lesson, students will continue their story to tell about a real or imaginative experience when a character was excited. Students will use lines and Color Codes to program their bot to show the sequence of events.
Narrative in Action Part 3: Climax, Falling Action & Resolution
In Part 3 of the Narrative in Action lesson, students will complete their story to tell about a real or imaginative experience when a character was excited. Students will use lines and Color Codes to program their bot to show the sequence of events.
Engineering Design Process Lesson 3
Students will use the Engineering Design Process to develop a model that uses Ozobot’s point counter. The scenario is 8th Grade mentors accompanying new 6th graders through school on the first day collecting and giving away items.
Engineering Design Process Lesson 2
Students will create a model to solve the problem of getting their Ozobot from the Lunchroom to the Science Classroom in 30 seconds while avoiding obstacles.
