Battle Corn
Students use Ari’s Compass app to explore the difference between true north and magnetic north as they create and solve directional clues to locate hidden “corn” on a U.S. map.
Constellation Creation
Students use Ari’s Compass App to sketch constellations on a grid, then research the myths behind them. They finish by designing an original constellation and writing its story.
Cross-Country Tour
Using the Compass App, students follow bearing clues to triangulate locations on a U.S. map and chart a cross-country journey from landmark to landmark.
Dead Reckoning Travels
Using the Compass App, students draw voyage vectors, apply dead reckoning navigation, and calculate distance, speed, and time while accounting for shifting ocean and wind currents.
Field and Auroras
Students use Ari’s Compass App to model Earth’s magnetic field lines, label the magnetosphere, and create an aurora based on how charged particles move.
Latitude of Legends
Students use the Compass App to analyze clue sets and maps to identify historical figures. Then, they create travel routes and use Line Following mode to trace each figure’s journey.
Ozobot Editor Essentials 13: Core Math
Experiment with math blocks to see how the Ozobot Editor can solve equations, generate random problems, and check answers. Then, put your skills to the test by creating an interactive math quiz for a classmate.
Ozobot Editor Essentials 12: Quiz Builder
Learn how to code a multiple choice quiz in the Ozobot Editor using variables, prompts, and conditions. Students will program a quiz on Ari’s screen or the Editor terminal, then share the quiz with classmates.
Ozobot Editor Essentials 11: User Interaction
Learn how to make programs interact with users through messages. First create a simple game scenario with user-facing and debug messages, then build a Simon Says–style game to share with a partner.
