Mini Ozobot Introduction Lesson
If students do not have prior knowledge of how Ozobots work, you can provide them with premade lines of color and code to explore. The last page of the packet is a fill in the blank practice activity.
This activity can be done individually, by partners, or by small groups. Distribute one page at a time to avoid confusion and limits materials in student areas.
Have extra papers on hand for students to make a mistake and want to try again. Tip- envelope labels make great "whiteout" to cover up mistakes to allow students to try again.

Now it's time for you to code Ozobot to make shapes. When you get the first paper, look at each shape and the codes at the bottom of the page.

Use the markers to color in the code that matches the correct shape. Turn your Ozobot on and let it move over the shapes. If you make a mistake, that is okay, you can have another piece of paper to try again.
