    3. Direct Instruction (Teacher-Facing Instructions)

    These are the steps the educator will read. Include any front loading, modeling or explicit instruction before students work independently or in groups.

    Go over safety rules. Hand out Evos to each student. Remind students not to turn them on until they have received their instructions. Log into each computer and sign in to the Ozobot classroom. Have one or two students hand out a blank sheet of paper to each kid. Hand them Markers from the ozobot cabinet. And go over todays assignment.

    Turn on your evo. Sign into your ozobot classroom. Place it on the circle to calibrate it to read the lines. Start drawing lines on a blank piece of paper. Test your evo on your line. Make your evo learn to dance or draw a course for it to run using color coding.

    Have kids sign out and shut laptops off. Clean up areas, place ozobots on charging port. Ask students what they learned and what they enjoyed about color coding.
