    3. Direct Instruction (Teacher-Facing Instructions)

These are the steps the educator will read. Include any front loading, modeling or explicit instruction before students work independently or in groups.

    Instruction

Introduction: Students will use their Color Code markers to guide Ozobot through the Zombie Apocalypse. Their goal is to guide Ozobot to safety without running into zombies. They also need to collect survival supplies on the way.

    Instruction

Write Code: Tell students they will be using their Color Code markers to fill in the gaps in the trail. They need to look at the path ahead to decide what code to use. They can make Ozobot move left at intersection, right at intersection, or straight at intersection. If students run into a zombie, it’s game over!

    Instruction

Run Program: Help students calibrate Ozobot and start moving through the trail. Students can keep track of how many survival items Ozobot picks up.

    4. Student Practice (Student-Facing Instructions)

    Student Instructions

    Instruction
