The teacher may need to model how to use Ozoblockly, if students have no experience.
The teacher can get students started with coding the parade route, and programming the Ozobot thus far to show students that the blocks we put together help tell the Ozobot what to do, which direction to go, and how far to go.
4. Student Practice (Student-Facing Instructions)
These are step-by-step instructions delivered directly to the students as they work independently or in groups
Student Instructions
Instruction
Students will use their Macy's Day Parade map and how we outlined the exact parade route, to develop coding that will have the Ozobot follow the exact route. Students can incorporate special features throughout their coding to make their parade route special. Once students think they have a good parade route that matches the route on the map, they will let their teacher know so an Ozobot can be programmed to try it out.
