    -If you do not have legos or enough legos, dollar stores have packets of legos by color and the base boards for building.

    -You will need plenty of 2x2 red, green, blue, and black blocks.

    -Optional: have lots of black 2x3, 2x4, 2x6, etc... blocks to build the blackline.

    -Laminate several copies of the coding cards.

    -I have split the codes into 5 groups: Slow Speeds, Fast Speeds, Intersections & Turns, Special Moves, Line Switches & U-turns.

    -Line Switch & U-turn is for grades 2 and up.

    To begin, decide how you want to teach this lesson. There are 4 options for you to choose.

    Option 1: Whole group-Teach one set of coding cards at a time. The whole class will do the same card set and practice sheet together.

    Option 2: Small group- Each group would have a set of coding cards, an Ozobot, and the coding practice sheets. The groups would work through each set of cards.

    Option 3: Center Rotation- Set up five center stations and the groups would rotate through each type of coding card.
