    3. Direct Instruction (Teacher-Facing Instructions)

These are the steps the educator will read. Include any front loading, modeling or explicit instruction before students work independently or in groups.

    Instruction

After teaching students about the different types of angles: straight, obtuse, acute and right, and how to identify them, this lesson will be a great skill reinforcer.

Pull students into a small group or have students work at their seats. Hand out materials: worksheet or plain white paper, Ozobot markers, Ozobot.

    Instruction

Model using a projector or a sheet of paper if in small group. Draw an angle for the students on the left side of a sheet of paper. Have students identify the type of angle: straight, obtuse, acute or right. On the right side, write the name of the angle. Using the Ozobot markers, draw a line from the angle to the name. Add a "celebratory" code at the end of the line. Trace over the angle with the marker.

    Instruction

Run the Ozobot beginning at the angle and ending at the angle name.
