    3. Teacher will active student's prior knowledge by asking them, "What is a robot? What do you know about robots? Do they all look like the robot on the book?"

    Instruction

    1. Before reading the story, the teacher will go over the parts of the book, (front & back cover, spine, title, author, and illustrator).
    2. Teacher will read the book to students and will ask questions to check for understanding, and to keep students engaged through the story.
    3. Discuss the events of the story with the students, go back to the book for reference.

    4. Student Practice (Student-Facing Instructions)

These are step-by-step instructions delivered directly to the students as they work independently or in groups

    Student Instructions

    Instruction

As a group, you will work together to place the picture of the events in sequential order on a large piece of paper or poster board. You will label the events: first, second, third, fourth, fifth, sixth and last.

Please upload any student resources, videos, etc. (Max. size: 512 MB videos, 10 MB all other files)

    Goal

    Instruction

Once you had place the pictures in order, connect the pictures by drawing a black line from the first event to the last one that your Ozobot can follow. You must include at least two special moves on the path your bot will traveled. After you are done drawing the codes, place your Ozobot at the beginning of the path and execute your code. Did your Ozobot follow the path from beginning to end? Did you placed the events in the correct order? Did you included at least 2 special moves? If the answer is no to any of these questions, try again.

Please upload any student resources, videos, etc. (Max. size: 512 MB videos, 10 MB all other files)

    Goal

    Lesson Extension (Optional)
