Add tips for the educator that don't fit into Direct Instruction or Student Practice. You can always return to this page to add more.
- Lesson will be effective for all levels of learners in the classroom. From those with basic knowledge of the water cycle, to those with understanding of energy and molecular movement. From those who use color codes and paths with their Ozobots, to those who will challenge themselves with OzoBlockly.
- Would recommend groups of 2-3.
- Some groups may wish to use multiple Ozobots
4. Student Practice (Student-Facing Instructions)
These are step-by-step instructions delivered directly to the students as they work independently or in groups
Student Instructions
Instruction
Pass out a copy of the daily check-points, talk through process with students and answer questions they may have:
1) Brainstorm ideas on how to present water cycle
2) Rough draft started by end of day 1
3) Rough draft finished, and begin programming Ozobot to show pathway of water by end of day 2. Start write-up which will explain what the Ozobot is showing by it's actions.
4) Continue programing Ozobot to show molecular motion (speed), and phase changes (lights) by end of day 3. Continue with write-up.
5) Day 4-5: Finalize poster and coding.
6) Day 6: Present to teacher, or class.

A. Lesson Closure (Optional)
Give tips for how to wrap up the lesson and assess student learning. (Want to add an attachment? Use Part C, below.)
Create RUBRIC that aligns with your learning targets for students to use as they walk around and see other groups, or as other groups present to the class.
B. Academic Standards (At least one standard required)
Choose a category from the dropdown on the left. In the blank on the right, begin typing the number of the standard.
C. Add Other Attachments (Optional)
Please upload any student handouts, videos, sample solutions, etc. (Max. size: 1 GB videos, 10 MB all other files)
