    Instruction

Step 1 – Introduction “Today we’re going to use Ozobot to show the steps we take when we advocate for ourselves. Just like Ozobot needs a path to follow, we need a plan to follow for self-advocacy.”

    Step 2 – Instructions

    1. Think of a situation where you use your IEP or need to advocate for yourself.
    2. Write down 3–5 steps you would take in that situation.
    3. Draw a pathway with a stop for each step.
    4. Add color codes so Ozobot can move along your pathway.
    5. Test your Ozobot and make changes if it doesn’t follow the path correctly.

Step 3 – Closing Reminder “When you finish, you should be able to explain how your pathway shows the steps of self-advocacy you would take in real life.”

    4. Student Practice (Student-Facing Instructions)
