These are step-by-step instructions delivered directly to the students as they work independently or in groups

Step 1: Select an animal from Crossings. As a team of 2 or 3 students, select an animal that is featured in the book. Answer the following questions - What type of crossing does your animal use? How does your animal move? What are important features of your animal?
Step 2: Design your ozobot to have some of the features of your selected animal using paper, markers or colored pencils, and tape.
Step 3: Design a bridge for your ozobot animal using the research about the animal's needs, environment, and bridge design.
Step 4: Create a coded sequence to help your ozobot animal cross from one side of your bridge to the other.
Step 5: Record in Flip your design process as well as your final ozobot animal crossing (successful or unsuccessful).
