This can be used for events leading to the American Revolution. Students will research various events leading to the American Revolution, choose the top 5 contributing events, map the events out on a road, and have the Ozobot travel to each event. As the Ozobot stops on an event, the students will record and explain the significance of the event as it led to the Revolution.

Instruction
Students will take a quick, informal assessment on events leading to the American Revolution using Quizizz or Gimkit. The teacher will review results and give quick feedback regarding the results.

Instruction
The students will form groups and begin researching various events that led to the American Revolution. These events would include:
- Sugar Act (1764). This British law charged duties on sugar imported by the colonies. Several other products were also taxed.
- Currency Act (1751 and 1764). Several Acts which regulated the issuing of money by the American colonist.
- Stamp Act (1765). This British law required certain printed materials including newspapers in America be on paper produced in Britain and stamped with a revenue stamp.
- Quartering Act (1765). This act forced the colonist to provide food and shelter for British soldiers when needed.
- Townshend Acts (1767). A series of acts passed By Brittan beginning in 1767 that taxed the colonies.
- Boston Massacre (1770). An angry mob of colonist confronts British soldiers in Boston. Five colonists are killed.
- Tea Act (1773). This act basically gave the British East India Company a monopoly on tea trade in the Americas.
- Boston Tea Party (1773). In response to the Tea Act patriots dressed as American Indians dump British tea into Boston Harbor.
- Intolerable Acts (1774). A series of laws also called the Coercive Acts passed by Brittan in response to the Boston Tea Party.

At the end of class, students will rank the events in order or "contributed the most to the American Revolution" to "Contributed the least" - this could be done with Flipgrid, Google Doc, etc...

The students will then choose their top 5 events and place them in chronological order on a road. The will map this out on the large piece of paper. For each event they can add a symbol or related picture to the paper.

The students will program the Ozobot to visit the events in correct order on the Road to the Revolution. As the Ozobot is moving, students are recording with a Chromebook or their Phone. When the Ozobot stops, the students will record and explain the event and it's significance to the American Revolution.
