These are step-by-step instructions delivered directly to the students as they work independently or in groups
Student Instructions
Instruction
You are going to put what you just learned together about robot programming and pow wow etiquette.
- You will separate into 5 groups of 5 students.
- You will see an outline of the Waccamaw Siouan Pow wow, along with vendors, arena, good, etc. on a large white sheet.
- Identify the following:
- Three robot controllers (holds robots)
- Two Robot Programmers (holds markers)
- Identify the roles of each robot and add the appropriate attire.
- Fancy Dancers - Shaw, bustle,
- Traditional - Shaw on arm
- Spectator- Baseball Cap or necklace.
- The programmer draws the path for the robot, adding in the color codes to ensure the dancers are appropriate for the style.
