    • If Ozobots are not available to the students, the OzoTown School Bus Stops Game can be done on paper.

Students can use poster paper to illustrate their final bus route design.

Putting the posters on the wall, a gallery walk can be performed to enable students to share their work with their peers.

    3. Direct Instruction (Teacher-Facing Instructions)

These are the steps the educator will read. Include any front loading, modeling or explicit instruction before students work independently or in groups.

    Instruction

Before students work in pairs on the OzoTown School Bus Stops Game, they should be proficient in using Ozoblockly Games. Have students complete all ten levels in each OzoBlockly Shape Tracer 1 and 2. Take students through the first three levels of both OzoBlockly Shape Tracer 1 and 2, checking their work on the remaining seven levels as they work through them on their own.

    Instruction

Once students have demonstrated proficiency completing the OzoBlockly Shape Tracer 1 and 2 levels, introduce students to OzoTown. Demonstrate the first three levels at OzoTown, then have the students complete and master the remaining seven levels on their own.

    Instruction

After students demonstrate mastery of OzoTown, put them in pairs and have them complete the OzoTown School Bus Stops Game Lesson.

If working in pairs is not possible or practical, students can complete the lesson independently.

    4. Student Practice (Student-Facing Instructions)

These are step-by-step instructions delivered directly to the students as they work independently or in groups

    Student Instructions
