4. Student Practice (Student-Facing Instructions)
These are step-by-step instructions delivered directly to the students as they work independently or in groups
Student Instructions
Instruction
Students will create drawings or build representations/models of the various forms (in groups or altogether).
Please upload any student resources, videos, etc. (Max. size: 512 MB videos, 10 MB all other files)
Goal
Instruction
Students will glue the drawings or place the models around blue butcher paper (water) and draw a black track (leaving space right in front for specific codes) around past each source to form a large circle. Each student/group will determine different codes for the Ozobot to perform as it passes each specific cause of water pollution (ex. oil - "tornado" or "spin", plastic/litter - "snail" or "slow"). This is representative of a fish passing through different pollutants and modeling their reactions.
Please upload any student resources, videos, etc. (Max. size: 512 MB videos, 10 MB all other files)
Goal
Instruction
Run the Ozobot around the track to mimic a fish encountering pollution in the water.
