    Using adventure cards, students take Ozobot on a trip around the world, visiting all the continents.

    3. Direct Instruction (Teacher-Facing Instructions)

    These are the steps the educator will read. Include any front loading, modeling or explicit instruction before students work independently or in groups.

    Hand out Ozobots and ipads. If using evo, make sure they connect to the app. (If students are working in pairs, they need to decide who starts coding. Try having one person code and the other load and run the program.)

    Explain to students that they start on a continent and that they will draw an adventure card to show what they will be programming Ozobot to do.

    4. Student Practice (Student-Facing Instructions)

    These are step-by-step instructions delivered directly to the students as they work independently or in groups

    Position students to start on each continent, making sure that the continents are spread out to allow for students to and Ozobots to move around.

    Students begin by drawing a card and completing the task to the next continent.

    Repeat until the students have traveled around the world.

    Students can research one fun fact about a country on that continent. So as they complete each mission, they are their fact before drawing another card and continuing on.
