Home Row FUN
In this activity, students will choose the correct home row keys on the activity sheet and code Ozobot through a path of keyboard keys, playing “happy/sad” and light up green/red each time it chooses the home row keys on the activity sheet.
Which way should we count today?
Students will program Ozobot to choose a way to skip count for a quick warm-up before core math lessons.
Evo Simulates a Garden Robot
Using OzoBlockly and modular design, students construct a garden robot that simulates planning the location of crops, planting seeds, and watering.
Craps Game for Ozobot
Play craps with Ozobot for fun, or challenge your computer science students to create an OzoBlockly program to play craps with Evo or Bit.
Into a Fairytale
After reading through different Fairy tales, students will build a set so the Ozobot can transform into the character and travel through the scene.
Evo–The Speaking Inchworm
Turn Evo into a ruler that measures up to 127 inches. A loop of paper coupled with a 12-block OzoBlockly program accomplishes this task.
Ozobots for Black History Month
Students create timelines of an eminent figure in the civil rights movement. Players have to figure out which paths to take based on fact cards.
OzoDreidel
Students will use OzoBlockly to code their Ozobot to mimic a dreidel. Students will then execute the code to play a game of Dreidel.
Micromouse
Micromouse is an event where small robots solve a 16×16 maze. Create and optimize algorithms to find the fastest way through the maze.
OzoBlockly Coordinates Challenge | Math Mini Lesson
Students will use OzoBlockly to code their Ozobot to move to the star shape, and identify and record the coordinates.
