Digital Citizen Pathways
In this lesson, students will learn what it means to be a good digital citizen and guide ozobots safely through “the web”.
Lesson One: A Brief Introduction to Ozobots
Children will learn about how to calibrate and code Ozobots using markers, then will work together to explore what Ozobot can and cannot do.
Memory Maps
There are many forms of loss. Students engage in learning about grief and morning, then code a memory map of positive memories.
Ozobot along the Oregon Trail
This is a Social Studies lesson to help students understand what life was like traveling along the Oregon Trail.
River Erosion
Using Ozobots, students will trace the path of one river from two different time periods. They will observe where the river has changed its course.
Underground Railroad Challenge
Students will use coding to create a map where an Ozobot follows a path a slave might have used escape to freedom.
Pac-Man Ozo
Students design a game map of Pac-Man. The goal is for Pac-Man to avoid the ghost and eat as many fruits. Code Pac-Man Ozo to the best pathway!
OzoBulldozer 1 & 2
Ozobot Bit, Ozobot Construction Kit, Ozobot bulldozer, domino, game
Ozobot is a Math Detective
Students will create their own word problem and then “code” four different paths with four solutions ( one of which will be correct).
Fraction Equivalence
Students will be identifying which fractions are equivalent to 1/2.
