Touring Our School
This is a student-centered project that integrates the Evo Ozobot robot with the Makey-Makey & Scratch 3.0 technologies. Evo can be programmed using either the color-codes or the Blockleya programming language for this project.
Recycle with That!
Ozobot can help build awareness of ways students can use items around them to recycle and rebuilt to help their community.
Finding Synonyms with Ozoblockly
Students will program the ozobot using Ozoblockly or the Ozobot Simulator to match synonyms on a game board.
A Grand Florida Tour
In pairs, students will randomly sleect 4 Florida landmarks. Using these landmarks, they will plot a course to visit these places. Using that information, they will code their Ozobot (using OzoBlocky) to take a tour of Florida.
Take Ozobot for a ride with Linear Equations
This activity will allow students to solve and graph linear equations and command Ozobot to move along the slope of a line.
Identifying Fractions
In this lesson, the students will identify halves, fourths, and eighths.
Needs or Wants?
This lesson is for students to understand the difference between needs and wants and be able to categorize a good after they name it from the letter Ozobot goes to on the maze.
Interactions in BP Oil Spill
After researching the effects of the BP Oil spill on species, students will demonstrate their interactions using a chart and the Ozobots.
Interpreting Distance Time Graphs
This lesson will allow students to interpret distance and time graphs from a story or word problem and graph them accordingly. The bot will move along the intervals and adjust the speed, movement, lights and sound accordingly.
Identify the Beginning Letter Sound
Students will identify pictures that are located around the Ozobot track. Next, they will identify the beginning letter sound and find the Ozobot code next to the letter to complete the track.
