CCM Special Moves Lesson 7: All Together Now!
Students will create a cross-country course using a variety of the codes they’ve learned. This is Lesson 7 in a 7-lesson series designed for the Color Code Magnets Special Moves Extension Kit.
CCM Base Kit Lesson 6: What Happens Next?
Ozobot’s base programming tells it to choose a random direction when it arrives at an intersection. This presents fun surprises throughout Ozobot’s adventure story. Students will create different possibilities for their story to continue.
CCM Base Kit Lesson 10: Maze Challenge
Now that students have been introduced to all the magnets from the Color Code Magnets Base Kit, they will create a maze for their peers to navigate.
Classify by Shape
Students will practice cutting out paper tiles, and classifying them by the shapes on the tiles. Then, Ozobot will show each shape as students explain how they classified each group.
Create a Pirate Map
Students complete a compass rose, then write a story to send their ozobot on an adventure to find a pirate’s treasure. Students will practice directional skills and writing skills.
Lesson 9: I Use OzoBlockly to Code Point Counting!
This lesson is a continuation of Fifth Grade Lesson 8. Students will complete their proximity sensor code and incorporate point counting features.
Lesson 9: I Can Utilize Advanced Conditional Statements!
Students will grow their knowledge of conditional statements, and create a game using if/then/else statements.
Lesson 9: I Can Convert Sequences to Loops in OzoBlockly!
Students will utilize Ozoblockly to write codes with loops. Students will explore how sequences and loops are connected and function in Ozoblockly.
Lesson 6: I Can Read Color Code Conditional Statements!
Students will look at color codes, break them down and identify what behavior the Ozobot will display.
Lesson 8: I Can Code Conditional Statements in OzoBlockly!
Students will utilize OzoBlockly coding skills to build conditional statements.
